Ståle was appointed President and CEO of Skuld in February 2015.

He holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and was a trained officer in the Norwegian Army.

Ståle joined Skuld in 2002 from a business consultant position at Accenture. During his 18 years in Skuld he has gained extensive experience within P&I and the marine insurance market. He has held positions as Business Controller and Risk Manager Finance, and he was Skuld’s CFO from 2007 until being appointed President and CEO in 2015. As of May 2020, Ståle also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Asta Capital Limited.“
