Paul Cunningham started his career in insurance with Willis in 1989/90 as a Marine Claims Broker, where he worked for 11 years.

In late 2000 he ‘jumped the desk’ and became an Insurer, joining Thomas Miller, where he was involved with Claims Management for Dex Serv Ltd (Hull and Machinery syndicate at Lloyd’s)

In 2008, the business was moved to Groupama Transport, where he managed their Marine Claims, underwritten through their London, Singapore and HK offices.

Since 2010, he has worked as the Marine and Energy Claims Manager at Talbot Syndicate, and is currently responsible for 10 classes of business

From a market representation, Paul is the Marine Claims Representative for the Joint Hull Committee and also the Marine Property representative for the Lloyds Salvage Group. He also sits on the Joint Marine Claims Committee and is a member of the Political Risk Claims Committee.
