Lars is Vice President and Head of Risk Management at A.P. Møller-Maersk A/S, a global integrator of container logistics. He is a lawyer by background with particular focus on Energy, Transportation & Logistics, and Insurance. From 2005 to 2010 he held the position as General Counsel at Maersk Oil and in 2010 he assumed his current position as Head of Risk Management at A.P. Møller-Maersk A/S as well as Managing Director of Maersk Insurance A/S. Lars has broad international experience, including a five year posting for Maersk Oil to the Middle East (Qatar) from 1999 to 2003
